Ukraine has faced a crisis in the development of renewable energy sources and the development of energy sector in general. But having its own specifics, the problem itself is not unique, so it is important for us to understand both the European context and the experience of other countries. Moreover, foreign investors are actively working in the market of renewable energy sources of Ukraine, and attracting foreign investments is critical for the development of Ukraine's economy.
We invited representatives of embassies to be able to hear their opinion, probably - experience in the development of renewable energy sources.
One of the reasons for the current crisis we (Energy Club) see the lack of communication and lack of transparency of decisions in the field of supporting the development of green energy. Thus, we have come to a situation where Ukrainians, both people, and businesses, do not sufficiently understand the meaning of the development of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, and green transformation in general.
The Energy Club is actively involved in the process of finding ways out of the crisis, and we are planning a number of communication activities on this topic. As a result of these measures, we will not only strengthen the communication of all stakeholders but also form recommendations for decision-making, which will be sent to policymakers.
