On March 8, 2023, the Energy Club held a closed meeting on the topic "PRISMA Capacity Booking Platforms: Supporting Security of Supply and the Green Transition". The speaker was Tobias Troeger, Enterprise Architect, PRISMA, who presented PRISMA's market role as a key neutral partner in the EU's digital interconnections and spoke about digital solutions that support energy markets and contribute to security of supply and the green transition.
PRISMA connects the majority of gas markets across Europe, and 40 GTS operators representing gas markets in 19 European and 1 non-European countries are now subscribed to the platform, enabling more than 700 shippers to benefit from the platform's services. PRISMA assists the European gas community by operating a gas capacity management platform that supports the entire life cycle of gas capacity, storage and marketing of LNG capacity.
During the meeting, Tobias Troeger provided a brief introduction to current and upcoming PRISMA projects, including AggregateEU, LNG, non-EU operators, and hydrogen projects.
The event was held in English with simultaneous translation into Ukrainian. The meeting was moderated by a well-known Ukrainian journalist, TV and radio host, and media expert Andriy Kulykov.
