Energy Transparency Forum
About forum
In the near future, the Ukrainian Parliament is to adopt a landmark draft law on the implementation of the EU Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency (REMIT) into national legislation.
The said Regulation requires states that are members of the European Union or parties to the Energy Community to establish at the national level such requirements and rules that will ensure transparency in the electricity and natural gas markets and will promote open and fair competition in wholesale energy markets for the benefit of end-users.
At the forum we will discuss practical aspects of REMIT implementation and enforcement.
